This is an illustration I made originally for one of the Hedgespoken storytellings. The Seer is a wonderful Bukowina Romany tale in which the Queen is taken underground by a dragon and must be rescued by her youngest son (the eponymous seer). It is a story full of threes, magical devices, underworld journeys, shapeshifting, and ultimately it is a quest for love. I have attempted here unusually to illustrate the whole story in one image.
